- Abstract
-
The article describes several of these transactional analysis games which may occur in the relationship between the teacher and the school headmaster. Despite giving these games new names corresponding to the school environment, they partially refer to games that have been widely described in the literature. To make the article understandable to readers unfamiliar with the theory of transactional analysis too, theoretical concepts which are necessary to understand and analyze the presented examples were introduced. This specifics of school functioning as a workplace was discussed, which is reflected in the forms of games occurring in the school environment. Five example games were presented and two hypothetical situations in which the games occurred were analyzed in detail. The final reflections were enriched with conclusions on the consequences of games occurring in the headmaster-teacher relationships, and with a discussion on ways to exit games and reduce their negative repercussions.
