Abstract

The article is a research report based on the transactional analysis concept. The author looks for the answer to the question what is the significance of the family situation during childhood and adolescence for scripted entries of a man at the threshold of adulthood. The study was conducted on a sample of 190 people aged 19-25 and using questionnaire techniques. Research tools (adaptation of the Z. Łęski questionnaire, 2018) were based on the T. Kahler and H. Capers’ (1974) concept. The main conclusion of the study indicates the dominant importance of the nature of the relationship between parents for the development of child’s script. However, the relationship between script entries and whether the family functioned as full or incomplete was not disclosed

Author Biography

Anna Pierzchała, Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa

Anna Pierzchała, PhD - an employee of the JDU since 2005. From the beginning of her scientific activity, she has been exploring the possibilities of using transactional analysis in education. Her doctoral dissertation (2012) concerned the phenomenon of school passivity in the perspective of transactional analysis. Member of the Educational Transaction Analysis Research Team at the Jan Długosz University in Częstochowa, graduate of a number of training courses in the field of transactional analysis. The concept of AT she also useing in educational practice - she is the author of the program developing the social competences of children at the Little Professor's University. The program has been implemented in primary school and kindergarten in Sosnowiec (Poland) since 2018.

Additionally, she is a pedagogical therapist in the field of working with a child with dyslexia, ADHD and behavioral disorders. She has a tutor certificate. For over a dozen years, she has been conducting workshops on the development of social skills, including integration workshops, effective communication workshops, workshops on social and educational skills, workshops on group work techniques, as well as a number of classes in the field of pedagogical therapy.

She is the author of two books (one co-authored) and over 50 scientific articles. Most of them concern the concept of transactional analysis.
