The article presents the results of a research conducted for a master’s thesis. The research con-cerned transactions between a kindergarten staff and children’s caretakers and was carried outwithin the framework of transactional analysis. A particular focus was put on ego states of the transaction participants. Additionally, an attempt to estimate relationships between them was undertaken. Moreover, the articles shows in an interesting way an approach to achieving success atwork, relating to St. Ignacius of Loyola’s spirituality and transactional analysis.
