The paper presents a method developed in Japan and called Role Lettering Therapy (RLT), which can be used in psychotherapy and counselling. Thanks to its confidentiality, it is safe and easy to administer. It can also be used in transactional analysis, as it counteracts initiating psychological games, decontaminates ego states, strengthens the Adult ego state, and decreases clients’defences and resilience. It can also be useful in working with children and adolescents to reduce school phobia, truancy and bullying.
