Cultural Transmission and Musical Folklore in the Education of Future Teachers: The Polish–Ukrainian Context

Abstract

The work shows the place and role of musical folklore in preparing future teachers for cultural transmission. In the undertaken discourse, the potential of Polish and Ukrainian musical folklore was described, the phenomenon of cultural transmission was also presented, with an emphasis on the educational dimension. The theoretical considerations initiated were based on literature studies and the thoughts and academic experiences of researchers from Poland and Ukraine. The work indicates solutions regarding research and application activities carried out for future teachers.
