Reviewing procedure
- Submitted papers are initially assessed by the editors of the Journal for compliance with the journal's profile, adherence to the publisher's editorial requirements and general grammatical correctness criteria.
- Each of the submitted articles is subjected to the reviewing procedure. The editor-in-chief of the magazine decides about the beginning of the procedure.
- The text complying with the requirements is anonymized and directed to two independent reviewers. In accordance with the principle of double-blind review, the author and the reviewer are anonymous to each other.
- When selecting reviewers, it is ensured that:
- The reviewer had no prior knowledge of the submission
- The reviewer has not cooperated recently with the author
- The reviewers are not from the same institution
- By completing the review form electronically, each of the reviewers makes a substantive evaluation of the article involving, inter alia, the compliance with the Journal's profile, originality of the article, its methodological, linguistic and editorial correctness.
- After completing the review, the reviewers present their recommendation and critical comments which decide whether the article should or should not be accepted for further publishing work.
- After receiving the reviews, they are sent electronically to the authors.
- The editor-in-chief makes the final decision concerning publishing of the article.
