Publication Guidelines for the Journal Edukacyjna Analiza Transakcyjna
  • There are no fees for article publication. Articles are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC-BY) license (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/).
  • Manuscripts should be prepared on A4 pages with margins of 2.5 cm on all sides. The text should be justified, with 1.5 line spacing, using a sans-serif font (e.g., Aptos, Calibri, or Arial). Files should be submitted in .doc, .docx, .rtf, or .odt format.
The primary language of publication in the journal is English.

For accepted articles written by native English-speaking authors, the Editorial Office may, with the author’s consent, prepare a Polish-language version of the article for publication. In such cases, the preparation of the Polish translation is the responsibility of the Editorial Office.

  • All figures, tables, and other objects should be numbered and captioned according to current APA guidelines. Details: https://apastyle.apa.org/style-grammar-guidelines/tables-figures.
  • In-text citations must follow the current APA style: https://apastyle.apa.org/style-grammar-guidelines/citations.
  • A complete reference list should be provided at the end of the article in alphabetical order, formatted according to APA style: https://apastyle.apa.org/style-grammar-guidelines/references/examples.
  • Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Tools

The journal allows the use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools in the preparation of manuscripts, provided that transparency is maintained and authors remain fully responsible for the content of their work.

We distinguish two broad types of AI use:

Generative AI – tools used to generate content (e.g., text, images, or other materials), such as ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, Midjourney, or DALL-E. If such tools are used to generate or modify parts of the manuscript, this must be disclosed in the manuscript.

Assistive AI – tools that support the author’s work, such as grammar checking, language editing, stylistic improvements, or assistance in data analysis. This type of use is common practice and generally does not require detailed disclosure.

Authors remain fully responsible for the originality, integrity, and accuracy of all parts of the manuscript, including those produced or modified with the assistance of AI tools. The use of AI does not release authors from responsibility for any breach of publication ethics.

AI tools cannot be listed as authors or co-authors of a publication.

If generative AI was used to create or modify parts of the manuscript, authors should include a brief statement in the manuscript under a section titled “Use of AI tools”, describing the tools used and the scope of their use.
