Publication in the Podstawy Edukacji Yearbook is possible after meeting the formal, substantive and technical requirements. The Editorial Board accepts only original texts, presenting the results of studies not previously published in any publishing house, against which the authors have full rights.

The preliminary substantive criterion is the compliance of the article with the journal's profile. The text proposed for publication should be characterized by the novelty of the phenomena presented, a reliable methodological approach, popularization of unknown research areas, and careful systematization of knowledge. Articles should present the content of considerations related to the undertaken research subject in a clear and compact way. The editors reserve the right to amend and shorten the submitted texts.

The article should provide a unique and innovative approach to the problem, present an interdisciplinary approach to assumptions and analyzes. It should clearly define the research objective, research strategy and the adopted method adequate to the established research objective. The article should also be characterized by careful systematization of knowledge. The literature used should be current, skilfully selected, in the correct arrangement and structure of the text. The language used should be correct, scientific, without unnecessary jargon.

The Editorial Board of the Podstawy Edukacji Yearbook implement ghost-writing firewalls (omitting authors from the list of authors) and guest authorship (attribution to persons who did not participate in creating the work). Each Author should attach to the application a statement of the originality of the work submitted for printing. In the case of articles prepared by several authors, they are required to disclose the contribution of individual persons to the creation and completion of the applicable declaration of direct participation (download statement doc file, pdf file). Any cases of unfair practices will be exposed and made public, as well as reported to relevant entities.

The Editorial Board obliges the Authors to provide information on the sources of funding for publications, the contribution of scientific research institutions, associations and other entities.

The Authors submitting articles for printing are requested to adapt their texts to the editorial requirements of the Jan Długosz University of Humanities and Sciences in Czestochowa.

Editorial Board do not charge any fees for submission of manuscript and an article processing.

Rules for the preparation of the text

The articles in Podstawy Edukacji are published in Polish and congress languages.

The text should be accompanied by a summary of the article in English (approx. 800-1000 characters including spaces), which will contain key information including the purpose, the research problem, the method and main conclusions. In addition, the translation of the title of the article in English and a maximum of five keywords (in Polish and English).

The Editorial Board obliges the Authors to check whether the bibliographic sources cited in the texts (footnotes, bibliographies) are numbered by the parent publishers with DOI (Digital object identifier) numbers. You can check them at http://www.crossref.org/guestquery or on the publisher's electronic website. If the source has DOI, the number should be placed in square brackets at the end of the footnote.

The Editorial Board informs that the reference (primary) version of the "Fundamentals of Education" Yearbook is a paper version.

Articles can be submitted throughout the year, with the editorial process of each new volume of Podstawy Edukacji starting in May and ending in October with the publication.
