Poverty as one of the factors in the development of terrorism

Abstract

The topic of this article is poverty as one of the factors of terrorism. It outlines the impact of poverty and social exclusion on formation of terrorist organizations, together with the recruitment within it. The article depicts a brief history of terrorist groups, as well as, political parties which, in their business, had not reject the use of terror, while their ideological message was to fight against poverty and to create better social order. All these ideologies were demolished as the authority had been attained in a cruel and vicious way. The aim of this article was to show, how easily some people can be manipulated, together with their acceptance for terrorism. Because of a grievance toward injustice surrounding world and poverty, these people become wielders or supporters of extreme changes in the existing social and political order, including the use of terrorism.
