The total value of the project amounted to PLN 50,120.00, of which PLN 50,000.00 was funded by the Ministry of Education and Science.

Project Objectives

The main goal of the project was to raise the editorial and publishing standards of the Edukacja Muzyczna journal and to enhance its international visibility and prestige. The project included:

  • publishing articles in an open access model,
  • using DOI (Digital Object Identifier) and ORCID (Open Researcher and Contributor ID) identifiers,
  • depositing the journal in digital repositories of the National Library of Poland (Polona, Academica),
  • modernizing and updating the journal’s website,
  • integrating advanced analytical tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console),
  • improving the functionality of the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform.
Project Outcomes

During the project:

  • language editing was completed for 56 scholarly texts (in Polish, English, and Chinese),
  • DOI identifiers were assigned to all published articles,
  • the OJS platform and the journal’s website were modernized,
  • readership statistics and analytical tools were implemented,
  • content presentation was expanded to include multiple languages,
  • the journal’s visibility in international scientific databases was significantly strengthened.

As a result, Edukacja Muzyczna has become an increasingly recognized and prestigious platform for authors from both Poland and abroad. All publications are freely accessible without technical restrictions under the CC BY 4.0 license.

We sincerely thank all authors, reviewers, editors, and collaborators who contributed to the success of this project. We believe that the implemented improvements will continue to benefit the journal in the years to come and support its further development.
