Meaningfulness of basic needs in terms of families' security - the comparative analysis of Polish and French communities according to A. Maslow's theory

The essence of social security is the state in which society is not at risk, and the state in which a particular entity or social group is free from ontological threats, can count on financial help if needed, has a range of available opportunities and broadly understood development. The subject of research will be a family as a subsystem of the social system. Based on A. Maslow's theory of motivation, we will present an analysis of selected factors that are relevant for the safety of family systems (family functioning in the social security system and family system perspective). For comparative analysis, the authors decided to select France, as an example of a country that many times in the International Living ranking, was recognized as the best country to live. In this article we will analyze the first group of essential needs: physiological needs. Today about a high level of unfulfilled physiological needs we can speak in case of poverty and homelessness.
