Sex education is important because it accompanies man at every stage of his life. The issue of sexuality is often embarrassing and neglected. Sexual education can be biologically and ethically oriented. The Catholic, English and Swedish models of sexual education are discussed. Against this backdrop, I have clarified the content of sexual education that should be implemented in grades I-III. Sexual education involves the biological and the health sphere, but also axiological, moral and familial. It is an integral part of general education with a particular focus on the preparation for emotional, sexual and family life. Knowledge in this field should be correlated with the total knowledge of the world and the people.
