Abstract

The nutrition of children is an important component of health behaviors because of their relationship to chronic diseases and quality of life. It is important to establish healthy eating patterns and nutritional preferences at an early age because they tend to persist in adulthood. In addition, the results of scientific research indicate that many chronic diseases have their roots in childhood.


The article presents an analysis of the results of own research devoted to the qualitative assessment of the second breakfast at the school of early school education students. It also indicates the products most frequently consumed by the tested people and errors made in composing a second breakfast.
