Abstract

The nuclear tests carried out by Kim Dzong Un have raised fears, especially since the world powers are unable – and there is no indication that this would happen – to develop a common position on the peninsula’s events. The great unknown is also whether the North Korean Dictator is only a great manipulator of public opinion, or rather the conducted tests are a prelude to a larger danger. Nevertheless, North Korea’s nuclear power has become a serious problem on a global scale, and each of the great powers probably has its own plan of how to use this situation. The aim of the article was to attempt to analyze the nuclear potential of North Korea in the light of international policy and the actual possibilities of the regime.
