Polish Armed Forces in the military operations of the European Union

Abstract

The article analyzed the participation of the Polish Armed Forces in military operations of the European Union. The article described in detail the operational activity of Polish soldiers starting from the CONCORDIA operation in the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, through operations on the African continent, to the latest military engagement in the Mediterranean Basin under the EUNAVFOR MED Sophia operation. The tasks that the Polish Army accomplishes, as well as the effects of actions under allied contingents are presented. The author also put forward a forecast of further participation of the Polish Armed Forces in efforts to stabilize crisis regions.
