Local government in programs of peasant central and leftist parties in the interwar period

Folk Party during the Second Republic was actively engaged in the discussion of matters relating to the political system and the concept of local self-government. Main projects on the shape of the nascent local government were included in the programming documents of these groups. In the years 1919–1924, at the Sejm were debate on the draft of the act of local government. Until the May coup in the parliament were formed three projects of act, and forefront in the discussion on this topic were politicians of folk factions. After the events of May in 1926.
