Good practices
The journal uses the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), which are available on the website https://publicationethics.org/resources/flowcharts
To ensure the highest quality of published scientific works, the editorial office of the journal "Res Politicae" adheres to all recommended and promoted principles of good publishing practices. To ensure the reliability of the journal's published volumes, we strive to maintain the highest editorial standards, which means striving for complete transparency of information about individuals involved in the preparation of published texts, or institutions or entities involved in the creation of a scientific work.
The editorial office of the journal "Res Politicae" adheres to the principles of eliminating "ghostwriting" (occurring when an author who made a significant contribution to the publication is not disclosed as a co-author, there is no trace of their participation in the scientific work, or mention of them in the acknowledgments) and "guest authorship" (occurring when an author's contribution to the publication is minimal or nonexistent, yet they are listed as a co-author). Therefore, Authors are required to present the contributions of individual contributors to the publication (specifying which Author is responsible for the concept, methods, etc.). Furthermore, the Author is obligated to disclose information about the sources of research funding, provided that the work submitted to "Res Politicae" was funded by science (e.g., a grant) or with the participation of scientific and research institutions, etc.
The Author submitting the manuscript remains responsible for the manuscript. For this purpose, in addition to submitting a declaration of originality to the Jan Długosz University in Częstochowa Publishing House (downloadable file below), the submitting Author is also required to complete a declaration for the Editors (downloadable file below). Submitted texts should be original work that has not been previously published and does not infringe on copyright. The editors reserve the right to verify articles using an anti-plagiarism system.
If the Author commits scientific misconduct, the Editors will disclose this information and inform the Author's affiliated institutions.
