I. Information on Personal Data Processing in University Services

Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa respects and upholds the right of users visiting services within the ujd.edu.pl domain and social media platforms to privacy and personal data protection. Therefore, personal data collected by Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa through websites are processed in accordance with the European Parliament and Council Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), hereafter referred to as GDPR, and the Personal Data Protection Act of 10 May 2018.

During university-wide celebrations, press conferences, and other scientific-educational events, the University conducts live-streams, photo sessions, and video recordings for dissemination in various promotional and informational forms through the University’s website, university social media, and promotional materials, thereby involving the dissemination of the images of participants in these events. Participation in such meetings and ceremonies implies consent by the participant for the processing of their image for the aforementioned purposes. Please note that:

f) has the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, should they believe that the processing of personal data concerning them violates the regulations of the General Data Protection Regulation of 27 April 2016;

II. Information on Cookies in University Services

Using social plugins like the "Like" button means transferring personal data such as the user's IP address or browser identifier to Facebook, which may further transfer this data to its partners.

Your personal data obtained through the fan page: facebook.com/ujd_czestochowa, are processed for purposes arising from legally justified interests of the Administrator. These are the following purposes:
