Project objectives

The main objective of the project was to strengthen the editorial standards of the Sport and Tourism Central European Journal, with particular emphasis on the internationalization of its publishing profile.

The activities undertaken within the project included increasing the number of articles published in English, expanding the Journal's presence in international databases, implementing publication ethics standards in accordance with COPE guidelines, developing technical infrastructure, including the use of the iThenticate plagiarism detection system and ORCID identifiers, and strengthening international collaboration through increased participation of foreign reviewers and members of the Editorial and Scientific Board.
