Code of Good Practice as a Tool Surveillance Corporate Improvement

Abstract

The main aim of this article is to present and highlight the role the Code of Good Practice plays in improving the quality of corporate governance. Analysis and critique of the literature in the field of business ethics, corporate governance, ethical codes of good practices and the method of analysis and logical construction was used primarily in this paper. A brief description of the author’s own research on the level of corporate governance by the selected companies listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange was also presented.
