Sustainable supply chain is a system of business activities covering the entire product life cycle, enabling the creation of value for all stakeholders while ensuring the commercial success, contributing to the growth of social welfare and improvement of the environment. Sustainable development has an impact on the level of operating costs, production quality and increase competitive advantage. Enterprises, including for example Danone, have introduced the principles of sustainable development into their supply chain, which includes cooperation with suppliers: raw materials, packaging and finished products with customers. Danone has introduced new solutions in the process of transportation, manufacturing, selling or recycling.
