Abstract

From the standpoint of building relations with stakeholders, modern hotel enterprises should ensure clear communication between management and shareholders in the field of company value. One of principal indicators representing enterprise value fluctuations is EVA – economic value added. Research question addressed in this paper is as follows: who trades’ unique features affect economic indicators concerning enterprise value. The purpose of this article is to determine hotel enterprise characteristics influencing EVA indicator. Paper takes form of critical literature review in which Polish and foreign – mainly American – literature have been studied. Evidence from literature reveals 9 characteristics of hotel enterprises affecting EVA. Future theoretical and empirical studies on trade differentiation in the domain of value creation analysis are recommended.
