Analysis of the life insurance market in the years 2000–2010 based on selected financial indicators

Abstract

This paper presents the condition of the Polish life insurance market in the years 2000-2010. Analyses were based on selected financial ratios. The paper attempts to assess the opportunities and threats Polish life insurance market in the period considered. The analysis was based on data from the Annals of Insurance and Pension Funds.
