The Influence of Knowledge Management on Enterprise Competiveness based on the experiences of Argentinean companies

Abstract

The paper presents an analytical perspective on the issues of interrelations between the Knowledge Management and the competiveness of the company. lt describes the factors influencing competiveness such as knowledge and a rapid business response. Knowledge and rapid response to the changing environment are treated as the simulators of successful development of business. The author pays attention to the process of knowledge creation. He also analyses the deterrnining factors of success on the global market. This success is a result of a well designed and professionally executed business strategy. In this context various strategies are presented. Research done among Argentinean companies shows that two business models are the most widely implemented: the technical - econornic model and the social model. For each of the models the organizational aspect is analyzed. The application of this models results in a relatively high level of Knowledge Management in leading Argentinean corporations. Professional Knowledge Management is an important factor of competiveness of international corporations.
