Abstract

The aim of this article is to provide an in-depth transactional analysis of the preferences and behaviors of early primary school students in the context of using two educational medium initiates specific transactional patterns both in the student–material relationship and in student–teacher interactions. The article shows how the form of content delivery affects the dynamics of learning processes and the development of language competences. The theoretical approach is based on the principles of educational transactional analysis, which makes it possible to interpret students’ actions as the result of complex interpersonal and intrapsychic interactions shaped by the nature of the educational tools used.

Ewelina Majewska-Pyrkosz, Humanitas University

Dr Ewelina Majewska-Pyrkosz is an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Pedagogy, Humanitas University in Sosnowiec, Poland. She is an expert in digital education, computer science education, and cybersecurity. Her research and professional interests focus on developing the digital competences of pupils and teachers, as well as designing innovative teaching solutions that support the education of the future. She combines academic research with educational practice through the implementation of national and international educational projects. Her research addresses the development of digital competences and the preparation of educational professionals for the challenges of technological transformation. She is a member of the Humanitas University Teaching Quality Committee, a Board Member of the Upper Silesian Branch of the Polish Information Processing Society, and an expert for the Sectoral Skills Council for IT, Telecommunications and Cybersecurity.
